Nikki Cominsky is a successful attorney - troubled by the fact that her life isn't perfect. One day, a mysterious invitation shows up on her desk that reads, "You are invited to Dinner with Jesus of Nazareth." Thinking it's a prank, she shows up - only to find herself in the middle of a whirlwind evening of debate and revelation - with the most unforgettable man she would ever meet.
Based on the best-selling novel, "Dinner With a Perfect Stranger" by David Gregory.
Technical Info:
No offensive content. Technical quality not bad. Story may not hold young viewers, but is surprisingly interesting.
Angela's Take:
I have to admit that I expected to be bored by this movie, but wanted to see it, as I have this need to view all Christian movies that I can. Both my husband and I truly enjoyed it and came away wishing we could have a dinner with Jesus too. As mentioned above, some younger viewers may get bored as the story revolves around the lawyer and Jesus having dinner together. The interest is in their conversation, and I always love it when any kind of apologetics are included. Rent it from your local Blockbuster store!
Tamara from Spotsylvania :
"This movie was unexpected and amazingly awesome. It really talked to me. I thought I would get bored with such a movie but I didn't, the conversation held me to the point of tears. I would highly recommend that all take a chance and view this extraordinary film...I'm returning the rental to Blockbuster and purchasing a copy of my own!"
